Welcome back my friends,

I am so grateful for all those who participated in Project Eagle. I feel so blessed to have you all sharing so openly and supporting others in their quest to express their hearts. Thank you for making this community such a special place.

For now, I am turning it over to Joseph Ranseth and his poem, “Courage To Heal”.

When we don’t

heal the wounds

of the heart,

our minds will step in

to cover them with scars

in the form of stories

designed to protect.

But the cost is that

we lose some depth,

a capacity to feel,

and life loses a degree of vividness.

Yet, if we summon the courage

to pull off those scars,

we still have to face the original wounds—

from slavery to the desert—

before we can reach the promised land;

the place of union,

where we return to oneness

with the divine within our hearts–

the very kingdom of heaven

our protective stories were

obstructing us from,

simply because we feared a little pain,

which fear was only

caused by believing

an untrue story

to begin with.

Share with others how you found the courage to heal.

What steps did you need to take in order for your emotions freely move through you?

What false story did you leave behind?

Common Questions:

  1. “Is your intent to share the chosen videos over time in Tuesday Reflections or will your team need a deadline to review them all to choose which ones to highlight?” My intention is to invite members Tuesday Reflections to submit their work to be featured. This will be an ongoing opportunity to become a guest poet or artist. Regardless if it is selected or not, my hope is that your work will be shared with others either online or within your friends and family. The goal of Project Eagle was to give tips and tricks to better communicate your gifts with the world.

  2. Should we attach a copy of our poem with the video? Yes, this would be ideal.

  3. Do we also write out the “ invite” or questions to invite others to share? Yes, this is preferred.

  4. Is there a time limit of the video…like 5-8 minutes or less? Ideally the video is under ten minutes long. However, the most important thing is that you share in such a way that you respect and appreciate the audience’s attention.
